MTV2 will be revisiting YO! MTV Raps in December. Not sure in what exact form yet, but nothing on television meant as much as the final episode that aired in 1995. I remember dissecting every line, every outfit, everybody in audience during the freestyle, hoping my favorite rappers popped up and freestyled (they did, and they just kept coming. EVEN SERCH.) Oh also, idiots, this will help you figure out where the term “backpack rapper” actually came from.
