Meet Nova Rockafeller. She raps and sings. She was born in Negril, Jamaica - raised in Edmonton, but don’t bring that up because she never wants to go back there and thinks everyone there is terrible. She’s toured the world with rappers and had an insane amount of experiences. She’s a star and I dare you to battle her.
I was raised on Roxanne Shante and MC Lyte, I’ve dug Nicki and never really understood Kreayshawn. And I love hip-hop, but most importantly lyrics. That’s what excites me, male or female.
I’m managing Nova now, and it took awhile for me to say anything, because she’s a fucking beast and everything had to fall in place. Just wait until you hear her new music. You know it has to be insane for me to ever want to get back in that shit business.
